I had my second jewelry class this evening. The class is very open in technique and concept. I am particularly excited to learn how to cast metal. Tonight I experimented a little with wax and created the mold to what I hope will be a finished ring. The piece will be two separate rings that fit together and cast in sterling silver. There are so many different things you can do with wax because it comes in a million different forms. My brain is overflowing with ideas; I'm anticipating lots of tossing and turning tonight due to exciting jewelry making thoughts.
