Thursday I'll be making the (hopefully safe and snowless) trek back to Edwardsville to spend New Year's Eve with my honey. We've planned a day of delicious vegan cooking that I'm SURE will be accompanied by a bottle of sparkling grape juice (If you're reading this Brandon - hint hint)! I've just finished up some late Christmas presents for some of the ladies in his family, and let me say, it is hard to let these potholders go! I've become a bit of a yarn maniac over the last couple of weeks, and Santa brought plenty of fibers in loads of yummy colors. The top dark blue pot holder features a newly learned stitch! It is called the Bullion.
As you can see, I've also given this blog a bit of a new look for the new year! I'm going to try my best to post regularly and upload larger pictures. Maybe even share snippets of my life outside the art building at SIUE (Gasp! It DOES exist! Promise!).
