This morning I pulled the first state proof of an engraving I'm working on. It feels so refreshing and natural to do this; I had gotten away from it for a little while because of work and other boring, necessary life things. I drew this picture of a little boat a couple weeks ago and decided it would be the perfect candidate for a 2 x 3 inch resingrave block I had laying around. There's nothing quite like the sensation of smelling ink before breakfast.
