The final week that I spend with the hibiscus I made this diptych. I was noticing similarities between the prints and cosmic happenings. I started drawing connections between time, life/death cycles and the representation of the hibiscus as a memory. With these similarities in mind I continued to develop the prints with detail embellishment in ink, graphite and chalk pastel.
