In Now Moments I built on concepts that were explored in Merging Time. We are often so concerned with preserving a moment that we don't even experience it. This piece was made by inserting textile "moments" into plastic slide frames. I wanted the viewer to look at the slide and indulge in something that is in the present tense instead of reminiscing about something that has already happened and is no more. Each slide is unique and invites touch, and interaction only available in the now and unlike a photograph.
