Well, the first week of Art Camp at The Springfield Art Association has come and gone and we've already tucked into week two! Last week's theme was "Color Your Summer". We tie-dyed beach towels on the lawn, painted wooden bird houses, experimented with sun paper and took a tour of the garden to soak up some inspiration for our own garden designs.
On Friday I said goodbye to thirty-eight little preschoolers after a week of awesomeness, hilarity, and mayhem. I was really sad to see some of them go; they're just so adventurous and imaginative, two traits that I think we all need to get back in touch with. I'm sure this week will yield just as many wonderful artworks and silly stories.
