shores
I finished this engraving a few days ago. I printed the block on some Kozo rice paper that I made last summer. It felt so good to engrave something again, and I'm excited to continue to explore some of the things that it has made me think about.
In other news, Summer is almost upon us! Things I'm liking about the season so far: the herb garden that I planted with my mom, late night walks around the lake, having fresh flowers in my room and driving with the windows down. Art camp starts in a few weeks! I'm mentally preparing myself for the copious amounts of coffee (yes, coffee, not tea - camp is that serious) to be consumed, bead spills, and what will undoubtedly be many snack times spent comforting injured children from playing red rover. But I love it; I really do.
