For my last series I set out to document the ideas of lost and found. I have always been really interested in these concepts, mostly because we are taught that they mean certain things even though they are very subjective. As I was shooting these photos, I realized that neither the location of lost or found really mattered; it was what was nestled in between that held significance: journey, exploration, question, contemplation, steps. In the absence of these happenings, the finding something is entirely fruitless and empty. As I set out to document lost and found, the realization of what lay in between and what I was looking for was in fact manifesting itself within my very series.
